  • Why are you uys so caught up on a Mustang? Mustang's in the States are like Ford Taurus in Germany.
If you had just got you head out of your arse, you could have found something truly worth buying.

  • Ford didn’t really make mustangs between 1973-2004. Those things are an embarrassment to America. Slow, heavy, ugly and all owned by teenage boys that botched the wiring putting in cheap aftermarket stereos. You almost never see a “Nice” one because the neighborhood ditch is there natural habitat.
My brother has 3 of them. I owned a green 98 gt convertible for 15hrs once. It was awful.

  • After a muscle car? Forget eBay, Autotrader, Gumtree etc. just head for the nearest council estate – there's always at least one guy there that has an old American muscle car, lol!

And also at least one resident that has a mouldy old speedboat in the front garden for some reason!

  • Why boys, why?? A 'stang, yes, nice colour, yes, V8 engine, yes, but an auto box, in a Mustang?? Yuk! Ok, I know you had limited time and a pretty low budget, considering what you had to find, but i think you were too hasty, and could have found something better. A Crown Vic, (not that limo one though, obviously), would be cool. Yes, it would be an auto, but at least it would suit that type of car, and they're pretty cheap, pretty damned cool, with the same engine as the Mustang too. Speaking of the engine, it's amazing how good the Americans were, for years being able to create such crap bhp figures, from such large engines. I know they have to pass all sorts of emissions regulations, over there, to make their cars 50 state legal, but still, 215bhp from a 4.6L V8 "muscle" car is a bit pathetic. Thankfully, due to modern engine design and technology, they are able, once again, to make cars with proper muscle. Even new cars with around 500bhp look a bit weedy, compared to some of the others that have been on offer, over the past 2-3 years!!
