  • A LOT OF UNSONG MUSCLE CARS WHERE NOT MENTIONED AND SOME OTHERS GIVEN WAY TOO MUCH CREDIT I'M A BIG FAN OF ALL AMERICAN OLD IRON. Take the mercury montego gt for an example The montego could be ordered with some of fords BIGGEST engines no not motors .. the montego shared its platform with the ford torino . Anyway the montego was a great muscle car as well that didn't get much recognition for it's great styling and power. HOWEVER in around 1971 the wood brothers racing had a montego stock car made by Holman Moody racing chassis co. The Wood brothers also had put there OWN genius technology into that stock car as well. The famous stock car is known as the 21 PUROLATOR MONTEGO COLORS RED AND WHITE Driven by very popular drivers primarily late in the season by David Pearson. The whole point that I'm making is that this particular brand and model race car has broken and made more records then most other name brands to ever race in stock car history…

  • I worked for a gas station in Oregon when I was 20 years old and the owner showed me his 1970 superbird .it was yellow with that big rear wing .he bout it off the lot brand new and when he showed it to me in 2000 it only had 33 k miles and it was everything original even the tires ..it was covered in his garage that was double pad locked and he only let you get within three feet no closer .it was an amazing car to see in the condition it was in ..he was proud as hell of it .just wanted to share that story .
